Privacy statement

Westpoint Services collects only the information needed to prepare and file your Ohio sales tax returns: your business details, tax identification number, sales figures, supporting documents, and, if you choose, the bank account used to pay the state.

How we protect it

• Tax IDs and bank details are encrypted in storage with keys kept separate from the database.
• Every sign-in can be protected by two-step verification, and we alert you when a new device signs in.
• Access to your records is logged. Our team sees masked identifiers unless a filing requires the full value, and every reveal is recorded.
• We never ask for, store, or use your Ohio Business Gateway or OH|TAX eServices password.

How long we keep it

Filing records are kept for four years after each return's due or filing date, which is the period Ohio may examine. Bank details are removed when you switch to paying the state yourself or after two years without activity. You can request a copy of your records at any time from your account page.
